New Look Police Website Launched

Today sees the launch of an all new Leicestershire Police website.The website has been given a new look and feel with much more space for content and to enable information to be easily shared and embedded with social media.

On the homepage information is organised clearly with a focus on showing you information that’s local to your area. Simply type in your postcode to find your local neighbourhod team and the website will remember this on your next visit.

Your neighbourhood page shows you who your local officers are, any news and appeals in your area, upcoming events and webchats and the latest tweets from you local team. You can easily get to your neighbourhood facebook page, email your local team or find the nearest police station.

Information on the site is organised into different catgories which can be republished through RSS allowing you to stay up date with the news that’s important to you.
